The Council of Succession is proud to support and guide the Royal House of Rathore von Liechti, a union of two historic lineages: the Rathore dynasty of Jodhpur, India, and the Von Liechti family of Switzerland. The Rathore lineage descends from HRH Maharaja Sir Sumer Singh, a revered ruler of the princely state of Jodhpur, celebrated for his service to his people and community. The Von Liechti family traces its roots to Hochwohledelgeborene Laurentius von Liechti of Winterthur, Canton of Zurich, Switzerland, a politician and engineer known for both innovation and unwavering commitment to the people.

The Rathore von Liechti family carries forward this combined legacy by focusing on the preservation of cultural traditions and meaningful social work. While honoring their heritage, they actively engage in projects that uplift communities, foster inclusivity, and promote a shared sense of history. Notably, the family receives no financial support, such as a privy purse, nor compensation for their work. Their dedication stems from a profound commitment to service and the enduring values passed down through generations.
 

The Council recognizes the importance of cultural titles, such as HRH, used solely to honor the family’s historical legacy. These are not claims to political or social privilege but rather an acknowledgment of their role in cultural preservation.

Through this message, the Council affirms its role in providing direction to ensure the family’s work remains rooted in integrity and purpose. It is our intent to share their story and contributions openly, offering insight into their mission to honor tradition while addressing modern challenges.
